Vote them out Year 4, the 2006 Backwards Hall of Fame Ballot

So, my little crowdsourcing experiment rolls on. These ballots were created by an idea fully articulated at a Bluebird Banter post I made at the start of December.

The weak class of 2005 passed only one candidate forward, Wade Boggs, despite my plea to consider Tony Phillips. That’s fine, the Backwards Veterans Committee that will put him in is already forming in my mind.

On to 2006, and a class led by Clark, Hershiser and Gooden. These players perfomed better in their careers than real world HoFers Bruce Sutter and Jim Rice.

Limit is 15 votes, no minimum. Appearing on more than 30% of the ballots sends you packing. Get clicking, folks!

This poll has been closed and tabulated, please continue voting at the currently open ballot year.
