The Baseball Bloggers Alliance is holding its own all-star vote, and the following is my (American League only) ballot. A lot of my picks are probably not ones you’d agree with but, based on their play so far this year, I’d take this team over just about any other.
Here are my picks:
P – Cliff Lee, Seattle
C – Victor Martinez, Boston
1B – Justin Morneau, Minnesota
2B – Robinson Cano, New York
SS – Alex Gonzalez, Toronto
3B – Evan Longoria, Tampa
LF – Josh Hamilton, Texas
CF – Alex Rios, Chicago
RF – Jose Bautista, Toronto (this is my homer pick)
DH – David Ortiz, Boston
This team was put together using a very complex, time consuming formula. It took me a whole five minutes! Can you guess how I did?
